If you live in an area that is very desirable and low in inventory, it’s very tempting to price your home on the higher side. Studies have shown that pricing your home in line with the comps or even a little bit lower can create an environment of urgency and you may get multiple offers over your asking price. The second thing you need to pay attention to is the “feeling” people will have when they enter your home. We are living in a time of minimalism.
